Sun dried Kashmiri Dried Apples made from good quality Apples without added colors or preservatives. Kashmiris and other peoples of the Himalayan regions, and indeed, mountain regaions worldwide, dry their produce to sustain themselves through the harsh winters. These include sun-dried Bottle-gourd, Aubergines, River Fish that look like Sardines, Apples and Dried-tomatoes. Unlike in European contries, these are not preserved in oil or salt but simply, dried in the sun and preversed by the winter months.
