This Kalighat painting depicts Goddess Durga on her lion kills the demon mahishasura.The ornamentation on the body and garments of the figures are created by Fine white lines, Bold Colors predominantly of red, blue, green and yellow are used. The painting is made On Hand-Made Paper Produced by an Experienced Artist from West Bengal.
