White Tara is known as the Female Buddha associated with Long Life and compassion is often depicted together with Amitayus and Ushnisha Vijaya, and the three of them form the set of Three Buddha's of Long Life. She is depicted seating in lotus position with the soles of her feet pointing upward. Her left hand holds a beautiful blue lotus flower and her right hand is extended to her knee in the mudra of compassion.
