A finely hand Chain stitched baby elephant in purple, blue and pink colours on a cream cotton base. This is a great, one-of-a-kind tea-cozy in Kashmiri ariwork on cotton to start your tea-ritual with. Amazing! The Ari work involves a hook, worked from the top but fed by silk thread from below with the material spread out on a frame. It creates loops, and replications of these lead to a line of chain stitches. Fine craftsmanship.
