The present artisans have kept alive the sculptural traditions of their forefathers. So they are carving exact replicas of the original temple sculptures besides producing a variety of other items. They use ultra-soft white soap stone, and slightly harder greenish chlorite and the still harder pinkish Khan and the hardest of all black granite. |
