Artisans involved in this craft live in remote interior places and depend upon this craft for their livelihood. Leather bags with Kutch embroidery is popular in most parts of the country, but there is still lot of opportunity and market place where this craft has not made a mark. Even though there is rise in entrepreneurial movement over the last few years, it has not done the required amount of promotion of the leather products from Kutch, which has led to insufficient revenue to the artisans and there has been a constant decrease in the production but the popularity still lives.
