Rogan art is traditional art form of kutch. it is almost 300 years old art form now almost forgotten from world and now only 2 families is doing this art. It is a hand painted artwork on the piece of clothes with vibrant colors. We are interested in training this art to interested individuals, so that this tradition can be preserved for ages. In order for anybody to get interested into this art, first the porpularity of the art needs to be increased. Visitors and students from the various parts from all our world visit this small village specially to learn rogan work through out the year specially during november to fabruary.family of sri gafurbhai is awarded by national award for this traditional rogan art. Since the world is moving towards online trading, we also felt the need for it and hence agreed to work with Respect Origins.
