Shazia from Lal Bazaar are of Srinagar is a expert weaver of Pashmina Shawl which means made from wool and is also known as soft Gold. As the fiber of diameter of pashmina wool is very low it has to be hand woven into shawls, scarves, wraps, throws, stoles, etc. and the quality of the finished shawl depend s upon the craftsmen's skills and these products are well known for their softness and warmth. Once woven an experienced artisan with great skill does the identical needlework from both sides. This unique and traditional art is appreciated for its quality of material and craftsmanship.
